Let us break it down for you. FLAK is the postal codes for our home states squished together. You see, one co-author, Lizzie, is from Florida, the Sunshine State, and the other, Nicole, hails from Anchorage, Alaska. We have joined forces at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. For the past year or so, our shared unforgettable experiences related to art and violence (shout out to our First Year Course!), and our musical exchange through mix CDs has made us a powerful duo. As one mutual friend, Hair Alex, puts it, "you guys are always coming up with twists and turns."
It was about darn time we started a blog.
Our vision is for this blog to document our awesome adventures, music-related discoveries, and experiences with the art scene ever-present in the Twin Cities. More specifically, we will highlight certain happenings on a weekly basis, such as the setlists for Nicole's college radio show and Lizzie's trips to local museums.
